2014-06-17 07:27:00 | Could you not upgrade your OS to XP ? :D | R2x1 (4628) | |
2014-06-17 09:18:00 | It's not the OS that needs upgrading, it's the programme. I thought that there was a facility in Windows whereby you could make an old programme compatible with a modern OS. Is that correct? If so, what is it and how do I access it in Windows 8?

2014-06-17 09:35:00 | If your Windows 8 is 64 bit, then it will not run a 16 bit program.... AFAIK | Terry Porritt (14) | |
2014-06-17 23:35:00 | How do you tell if Windows 8 is 64 bit and how do you tell if the programme is 16 bit? The programme says that it is copyright 1990 - 1993 so I assume that's about the time it was written. Does that date give you a clue? | Roscoe (6288) | |

The programme says that it is copyright 1990 - 1993 so I assume that's about the time it was written. Does that date give you a clue? Windows 3.? and DOS 5.0 give the clue to the program being 16 bit. I don't know where the Windows version 3.95 came from as as Windows 3.x only went up to 3.11, and Windows 95 hadn't then been released. |
