| 1390796 | 2014-12-24 18:36:00 | "I have upgraded it from Win7 to Win8.1 Pro, But while moving house I lost the disk & key that I used to upgrade. " So don't list it as Win 8 then. It's not now you don't have the key etc. List it as Win 7 and make sure that's what is installed. |

I used the PC Settings->Update & Recovery->Remove everything & reinstall windows It has the win7 key on the sticker on the bottom of the laptop I was trying to say that Win 8.1 pro is installed, activated & working. But that there isn't a physical disk or CD Key |

| 1390798 | 2014-12-24 20:30:00 | Wouldn't worry about the DVD or Key, the ISO can be downloaded, or depending on how it was upgraded it will actually still be on the Drive anyway in a folder ( where it downloaded to) and you can make a ISO from that, or download the ISO if you want. As for the Key, you can always run a key finder and that will show the actual Key. With the exception of OEM installs where you buy the DVD/Product Key, the keys actually come through your email these days, ( if you upgraded Via Microsoft upgrade offer for example). |
