| 385615 | 2005-09-03 06:26:00 | Howdy. My sister has a HP Pavillion dv4000 laptop. Last night the left button stopped working for no apparent reason. The touchpad and right buttons were fine. Reinstalling ALPS didn't help. Tried laptop this morning and nothing on the touchpad worked. Inserted usb mouse, restarted computer and now everything seems fine, both buttons and touchpad are working?????. Any idea what happened and if there is a fix if it happens again. Cheers Ravage |
