| 385601 | 2005-09-03 03:19:00 | I just installed IIS on winxp pro & the first time config is horrible - you have to go into computer management, click on IIS & it will hang for ages while it configures it & it doesn't even tell you what it is doing. I thought it had crashed, but luckily I left it while I picked up my car & it was working when I got back an hour later. How can I tell what version of IIS I am running & where can I get the new version from if there is one? The one I installed is off the windows xp CD so I assume it will be old. |
