| 386511 | 2005-09-06 23:02:00 | Not too sure if there is going to be one, I would suspect that there would be one, Halo was a success despite the obvious conversion issues and the fact that it was an absolute resource HOG. Have a look here (www.bungie.net) for more info, I couldn't see anything straight away, but more in depth browsing will give you more info. Here's (pc.gamespy.com) an interesting article from Gamespy's Senior editor about the PC release of Halo 2... or the most likelyhood of there not being one. cheers chiefnz |

| 386514 | 2005-09-07 00:52:00 | Personally I would have to say that I'd be quite disappointed if a PC version was not released. It is an understatement that the FPS genre was not exactly meant for the console (despite it being pulled off well) nothing will ever come close to the ease of use of a mouse and keyboard for the FPS game. I myself am quite the cluts when it comes to using the X-box or PS2 controller for FPS. I am not saying that it's completely impossible just better suited to the point and click nature of the mouse. I have Halo 2 on X-box and I've gotten further in Halo 2 than I ever did on Halo.. I did manage to finish Halo on PC :) If ever a port was proposed... I would like to see more work put into the conversion, the 1st attempt was not very well done... they need to spend more time on better interface and better resource management.
