| 386106 | 2005-09-08 11:31:00 | We charged $30 incl.GST for the job not because i think she damaged the USB port, its because she wanted it replaced within 1.5 hours. i dont know what the industry standards are, but it would be safe to say a laptop repair job usually takes 5 or more working days. To do it within 1.5 hours, on a suspected user-misuse with a minimal fee of $30, i still feel we did the best we could. To get copped with an accusation based on multiple assumptions was just a little more than what i could handle after nothing but good intentions in the first place, which is why all readers and myself need to value the importance of stating each RMA job history clearly on paper, so your customers won't misunderstand and turn their backs on you. |
