I was kinda thinking along those lines when I wrote the first post, but, I have been known to be a goose at times and miss the obvious or simply miss something that a tech knows by second nature. Ta for the input. |

| 386205 | 2005-09-07 06:38:00 | Update: I took the router back to Quay Computers and they gave me another of the same, straight away, no complaints. The replacement performed marginally better in that I could access the setup interface, but the only setting it would hold was the new password I gave it. Took that one back to Quay, their tech did a few checks while I was there and confirmed it too, was on the blink. So, he gave me a replacement from a different manufacturer and here I am, happy as Larry. As an aside, I don't normally buy much off Quay, but was pleasantly surprised by their prices (for these items) and very pleased with the service I received from the sales and tech staff. Excellent performance, all round, Quay Computers  |
