| 386528 | 2005-09-06 23:37:00 | I have two very similar documents compiled in Word 97, both 30 odd pages long. Is there a way that I can compare each page to see what the differences are, if any? I have spoken to someone who uses Word a lot and have been told it can't be done. All help much appreciated. KB. | kbcad (1025) | ||

| 386533 | 2005-09-07 02:40:00 | grep is for finding strings in a file. diff would probably be better, but it will give an exhaustive (exhausting) output. There's probably still an fc ("File Compare") command in Windows command line stuff. | Graham L (2) | ||
