| 386488 | 2005-09-06 09:26:00 | O/S - 98SE - until recently, spybot (V14) would pop up a window giving a choice when changes were imminent, e.g. like a registry entry, and there was the facilty to choose, but now i get the window but it's deformed and any option choice is not visible, then after a few seconds another (yellow) window appears at the bottom of the screen which gives the impression of allowing a choice but then disappears with the message "change not allowed" (or words to that affect) which i take to mean, the entries are not allowed so the new programme or whatever, is not installed properly (this make any sense?) - uninstalling then reinstalling doesn't produce any change - have checked the options available and can't make it right - wonder if anyone has had this happen? - i've left SpyBot uninstalled and only reinstall when i run a system check then uninstall - anyone help please? | jayal (1291) | ||
