| 387119 | 2005-09-09 04:58:00 | well someone is pretending to be me on AIM/AOL and im wondering if theres anything aol will do about it if i contact them??? Lets pretend my name is bob923, well they made a name bob9203. The other person is saying some very nasty things to other people (of course i told everyone its not me, but i would like to just get them banned or something so i dont have to be emailed by them every day about how much they hate me and other people get similar emails and he sends some gross emails to some people (im of course not gonna say what they say) but anyways will AOL care about that or will they just say sorry kid thats ur problem now go away (not that exact wording) also what is aol's support email??? im guessing it like support@aol.com or something like that? also has this happened to anyone else who reads this? if so what did u do? any help i would be very grateful for -CorbinH |

| 387120 | 2005-09-09 05:10:00 | Only "bob923"? I would have thought they would have "bob100000000"; it's a fairly common name . They might take action if someone is grossly misusing the system . If other people confuse the numbers, there's not much anyone can do about that . AOL will probably have a "FAQ" or "Contact Us" button on their home page, which will tell you how to make a complaint . Try to keep the complaint short, clear, and to the point . |
