| 387025 | 2005-09-27 23:14:00 | Thanks I set up a new user on my computer with the same name as the one on the log in screen on the other computer and the same password. I the included this in my permission list However when I log on the other computer as that user I am still denied access to the folder on my computer :badpc: When you included the user in the permission list did you give them permission. The permissions are not always automatically included. Go back to your security/permission tab and click on the user. Make sure there are ticks in the tick boxes for the permissions you want to give the user - read/write/modify? If there are not ticks in the tick boxes then even though the user name is there they still have no permission to use the resource. |
