| 387191 | 2005-09-09 10:17:00 | What would be best at playing GTA San Andreas a computer or X-box and why would it be best? | dirtrider (8854) | ||
| 387192 | 2005-09-09 10:19:00 | if your PC is upto scratch...then best on PC. why ? better clarity of graphics, the option to boost your graphics, better weapon control, due to your mouse. |

| 387193 | 2005-09-09 10:26:00 | The recomended specs for PC is a 128mb video card. I think mine is 64mb which is the minimum so is this going to be bad? | dirtrider (8854) | ||

| 387195 | 2005-09-09 11:02:00 | i tried running gta on my 64mb geforce 4 (and 1.7 celeron, 256 ram) and it didn't run very smoothly. However it runs well (but on low graphics) on my other geforce 2 64mb, 1ghx duron and 384megs of ram, so im not quite sure whats happening there. If you do install on PC, then of course you can hot coffee mod it to get a "morally repulsive" and "disgusting" mini sex game. :D |

If the X-Box is anything like the PS2 you get horrible blurried textures, with the PC you can actually read the signs. Also the use of a mous makes shooting style missions easier (probably far too easy). You need a very good PC with a good graphics card though as San Andreas runs like a dog. A high frame rate will make driving vehicles much easier (something lacking on consoles). It is also fun to alter the vehicle hadling configuration file and get real fast bicycles :D Thw only real pain is that a PC keyboard is a bit awkward for flying planes and helicopters. |

The graphics card is mainly how much detail you get. |
