| 386701 | 2005-09-07 18:27:00 | Ok, let me just start by saying that I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to computers. I unshared my "C" drive due to the fact that all I keep hearing about is how people invade your PC using an IP address and that made me a bit paranoid. So I right-clicked on My Computer, went to Properties, Sharing, clicked "Do not share this folder" and hit enter. NOW, it won't even allow ME to access it, it keeps saying: C:\ is not accessible. Access is denied.. So I try to reshare the folder, and it states: An error occured while trying to share C. Access is denied. The shared resource was not created at this time. For the love of God, someone please help me out. It can't be that simple to completely ruin a drive....can it? *crossing fingers* Thanks in advance for all of the efforts put into helping. |

| 386702 | 2005-09-07 22:59:00 | Do you have more than one account on this PC? What version of Windows are you using? Sounds like you are not actually the administrator currently. |
