| 387444 | 2005-09-11 03:59:00 | Hello members I just shut myself out of the new installation on a new HDD. I have installed W2Kcomplete with all updates and started installing the network and work progs. My mouse is a optical intellimouse explorer3.0 and has 4 or 5 buttons. I had set one for delete and one for enter as I have on this HDD(which I need for the design prog). Now for some reson the delete wasn't working which I had also happen before so I had a look at the drivers and installed the "right" intellimouse explorer3.0 driver. I did a restart and that is it. I can't work with the key board either as that seems to be out aswell. I tried through safety mode, no chance either because through my network I have to enter a password and keyboard and mouse are not working. Has anyone an idea how I can get around this?? Any help is very much appreciated Thanks Gion |

Any other possibilities? Gion Either your PS2 ports have killed themselves which seems a bit unlikely. If it was one or the other - but both? Unplug them, plug them in agagin, making sure they are each in the corrct port. And then try another keyboard. That will tell you whether its the KB or the port. |
