| 387275 | 2005-09-10 00:58:00 | Hi Here's my issue. In the recent past I used Win98se, a P4 with 512ram and a 20g hard drive. Some of the major programs I used from that drive included Win Media Player and Win Office/Outlook. Most recently, I have upgraded by replacing the 20g HD with a 40g drive. The 20g still works great and so I made it the slave and the 40g the master and installed WinXP on that. The 20g holds everything that I had before (there are a lot of settings and saved contacts, etc that I don't want to lose) Eventually, I want to wipe the 20g clean and use it for media storage. MY PROBLEM. I want to use the settings, music playlists, Outlook calender settings (and marked dates), Outlook mail settings, Shortcut settings, personalized folders, and the many saved Contacts info (my primary address book/phone list) in the same programs that I reinstalled, and want to run on the 40g master. How, if possible, do I move all of this and more to the 40g master drive programs?--without having to manually cut-n-paste, etc etc. Any help or suggestions would be wonderful. :badpc: |
