2005-09-23 11:24:00 | Well, good luck to all Bordernet users. After Ihug sold me and others to Bordernet, I was dissatisfied.. I did not want to change my email addy. There was conflict between them & Ihug re email spam filtering. Anyway, after much searching for help in Ihug, I finally managed to get transferred from Bordernet to Ihug Blink. It is great..$20 cheaper per month than Bordernet, good speeds down & up too. I still have the same email addy, and I can use the phone at the same time. Better than that, I dont need the great big dish bolted on the house. So it is for sale.. haha.. any takers.

2005-09-23 22:40:00 | so tell us how easy was it to change ? as we to are far from pleased with this bordernet out fit any one phoned them of late oh hang on its Saturday.May we could do a two for one deal on the dish. | halo16 (8863) | |
2005-09-24 01:59:00 | It was not easy at the start . Phoned Ihug helpdesk several times, and eventually got a more senior person, who organised the switch, and setup Blink for me . Ihug handled all details . That was in July . Whether it's still possible, I couldn't say . Keep trying the helpdesk . . Good luck .

2005-09-24 08:40:00 | Hi We can not get jetstream at the gate so ihug ultra has been great. Just changed to bordernet & they have been most helpful setting up email addresses & generally getting us up to speed again. no complaints.. even weekend responses

Hi there, The iSat Satellite part of connection is not working, it's only using dial-up. Helpdesk is helpless. Does anyone know iSat's DNS numbers? Helpdesk doesn't know them. Ihug used to have some. Please help. |

2005-11-16 05:18:00 | as already mentioned you need to set the proxy settings PER PROGRAM for that program to use the dish . isat dosn't have DNS settings as it not dailup . the isat works OVER your dailup . standard dailup with the accounts is IHUG so use ihug settings . other isp's DNS addresses can also work with most other isp connectins ;)
