I've given up on linspire and gone to mepis (but am having a few problems with that too)Cool! - apart from the problems :p Anyways, thanks for that Nigel. Seems there's a few of us settling on Mepis, i've been running it for a few months now, and apart from one problem that was purely the result of my own stupidity, i haven't had any real problems. :D |

| 387326 | 2005-09-11 23:39:00 | In regards mepis I keep getting the same problem when i try and install anything I'll probably put up a new post about it But on the off chance it is something you have come across I get a message similar to the following when i try doing anything through apt This installation run will require temporarily removing the essential package e2fsprogs due to a Conflicts/Pre-Depends loop. This is often bad, but if you really want to do it, activate the APT::Force-LoopBreak option. E: Internal Error, Could not early remove e2fsprogs I can't find a solution to this I have tried apt-get clean (made no difference) apt-get upgrade (got the same error once it downloaded the upgrades) |
