2005-09-12 00:54:00 | how do I know how much percent the battery is charged? Does it come with a software program to check battery level? Also, can I play songs in ORDER with this?

2005-09-12 03:06:00 | With the ipod shuffle it picks songs to play randomly, so no it wont play them in order  | Overdrive_5000 (4950) | |
2005-09-12 03:18:00 | You've got a free choice between "shuffled" and .... "shuffled"? They can get stuffled. | Graham L (2) | |
2005-09-12 04:07:00 | The shuffles have two buttons on the back... the top one has three settings - off, play in sequence or shuffle. So you can play songs in order (or rather, in the order you loaded them) so you can buy a CD and load it up and play it as Lou Reed intended if that's your wish. Below that is another button. It doesn't look like a button but it is. This is the battery indicator light. Push it. If the little pin prick LED glows GREEN you're good. If it's ORANGE you're good but don't go too far from the power supply. If it's RED you're about to go all quiet so you should plug in and charge. I find drooling on your Shuffle while looking at pictures of the gorgeous new nano will affect your battery life so is to be avoided at all costs. However I realise that's not always going to be possible. Cheers, Paul

2005-09-12 07:17:00 | And this all proves why the apple ipod shuffles are a flop!!! Hopefully apple will learn from their mistakes and being out a better version. Which i won't buy since my mp3 player is probably better than their next version anyway!!! | white_lightning (8693) | |
