| 387502 | 2005-09-11 06:21:00 | Hi all I have the Pixelview prolink tv pro, and I am currently struggling to get it operational . I get TV1 tuned in fine with sound, but it "jams" up after this and will not scan in any other channels, and the program eventually crashes and seems to take my computer with it . If you have any suggestions i would be happy to entertain them . As far as i know i have the latest drivers (2004 for XP from www . prolink . com . tw) but i could be wrong . And there is no device conflict . Should i be using the tuning program supplied with the card - or is there something better i should be using . Thanks alot, any and all help GREATLY appreciated . | 387504 | 2005-09-11 06:44:00 | If its still under warranty, and it crashes with its own driver and program . And u can only get 1 channel and no radio,take it back and get a replacement . What does event viewer show, when it crashes . Does it just crash? Is there a blue screen? |

| 387505 | 2005-09-11 07:13:00 | I have the same card, but it seems to work fine. Have you plugged the fm antenna into the card. I found the software supplied from Pixelview to be very unstable, you can try third party apps such as ChrisTV which is much more stable. www.tv-cards.com |

| 387506 | 2005-09-11 08:25:00 | So i have seemed to have gotten around the crashing problem, by moving from the Pixelview TV program version 5.26 to 5.23. But it still only scans in tv, and FM doesnt work. Have also tried ChrisTv but this also only detects TV1. Thanks?? |

| 387508 | 2005-09-19 04:24:00 | Still suffering here team, but have contacted the supplier about returning the item, in the mean time - please ponder this. I did not install by autorun from the installation CD rather Windows xp dected the hardware i believe and it was installed this way. This was because there was no xp installation instructions in the manual I was provided!. I am using a pixelview prolink tv pro. CD version is 15.29 I have something like (21)20050606000148 Pixelview PV-BT878P + FM.RC. I am at the moment running from the pixelview tv tuner program version 5.23 - installed from drivers i downloaded from the prolink website 9x2kxp. Thanks Scott. |
