| 387418 | 2005-09-11 03:06:00 | I am currently using the free version of Zone Alarm v5.5. I understand that the latest version 6.0 is available but apparently has resulted in problems for many users. Is it worth the upgrade and if so, what precautions should one take. my Computer is Windows XP SP2 Thanks for all advice. |

| 387422 | 2005-09-11 10:25:00 | Version 6 changed my Outlook Express settings. After much time spent trying to work out what was wrong, I found I'd been mysteriously changed to a LAN. It was easily fixed, but the time wasted on "where in the innards to look" was annoying. Googling brought up a few known problems - so with hindsight, I would try that first in future. P.S. Sorry - just checked & it turns out that was v 5.5 I installed, not 6. I thought I was completely up to date, but apparently not so. |
