| 387225 | 2005-09-09 22:08:00 | I downloaded DS2 demo, which is 1.4gb. I downloaded it using Free Download Manager, and now when I click to run it, it says "Zip file is damaged, truncated, or has been changed since it was created. If you downloaded this file, try and download it again". Well, I am definately not downloading it again. Is there anyway I can repair the exe? Is there some program that can check a zip/exe and download what is missing? |

| 387226 | 2005-09-09 23:05:00 | The problem is, that all the extractor/uncompressor program knows is that the file checksums don't match, meaning the file is corrupt - somewhere. Its unlikely to know just which bits are changed (and just how you would be able to download a "portion" of the file remains a mystery to me as well) |

| 387234 | 2005-09-13 11:00:00 | Try other magazine/bookshops,if its not on the shelf it might be "out the back" and get them to have a look for you,just tell them you want the PC Powerplay Dvd edition issue #116 September 2005. ;) Remember it may be hidden behind other magazines (I sometimes do that when I want a mag but I have to check with my bank acct. first before buying and sometimes forget to go back to the shop). Check out other computer magazines and check the page that lists what they have on the cd/dvd with that issue magazine. :thumbs: |
