I recently upgraded from Win XP Home to XP Pro. (Compaq Presario ) and since then cant get it to find either the Zip 100 External Drive ( Parallel Con) or the Mustek Scanner 600 III E Plus which were in situ and working with the same computer when it was running XP Home. What have i not done/overlooked? :confused: :confused: |

Reconnect them. Reinstall the drivers - making sure they are XP drivers. |

Thanks PCTEK I will try that again but I am still a little puzzled as to why they functioned Ok on XP Home.I appreciate your reply. |

did you format then install the Xp pro? if so you might have forgotten the motherboard drivers. it can make a big difference in some cases. |

Thanks guys. I have managed to get the Zip drive back now but still no sign of the Mustek Scanner. I will persevere with getting updated drivers.Yes we reformatted the drive I think we replaced the m/b drivers. Thanks again. |

Just to close off on this one- I finally got the Mustek scanner to work after I downloaded one driver which actually worked. I had previously download several drivers which allegedly were for the Mustek on XP and none of them worked. That's what puzzled me so. Thanks guys for your assistance. |
