| 388151 | 2005-09-13 09:59:00 | I need an external drive for occassional shifting large files, backing stuff prior to reformatting a computer. Is an iPod robust enough? Have a had the 60GB recommended. However someone told me of them iPods not getting a great wrap on Fair Go. I didn't see it. Any other suggestions? |

I use a protective hard cover on mine,I would say it would be as robust as most 2.5inch portable external drives... Mine has been dropped from ******* to breakfast and I dear say it's more good luck then good management that it's still going, so I guess the hard cover was a good investment.. If you want purely an external drive don't buy a ipod or any mp3player, as you will be paying that little bit extra for it. But if you want sounds go ipod |
