| 388171 | 2005-09-13 07:17:00 | Hi, I created some accounts for the family in XP then decided they were too much trouble(the accounts) so deleted them. I kept mine and deleted my original but have now lost all my documents, bookmarks, emails etc. I know you can get it back as I did this once before along ago and someone told me how to do it. I think it was in Admin tools-Computer Management- Local users but not sure. Thanks, |

| 388172 | 2005-09-13 12:49:00 | Depends if the profile has been deleted or not. Go to My Computer/C Drive/ Documents and settings and see if the user names you have deleted are there. If they are you will find documents etc under the user name. If the user names are not there then you have deleted the profiles of the users and the only way I can think of is an undelete program to find the files on you harddrive. This has to be done ASAP as the more you use the PC, the less chance of finding the files. Post back and someone might be able to help with the undelete process. | berryb (99) | ||
