| 387994 | 2005-09-13 03:22:00 | I have a client with a Server 2003 server running as a domain controller with about 25 workstations. Most are running XP Pro or Win98 but there are 3 running Win95. Just in the last month or so the Win95 workstations seem to be automatically logging off the domain while you are working on them. It seems to be random and doesn't happen at the same time on the 3 workstations. To fix it you have to log off and log back on to the domain again. Anyone know what might be causing this? I can't be 100% sure but I think they installed SP1 for Server 2003 about the same time this started happening. They had been running fine for about 6 months before. Is it Microsofts way of saying "Time for an upgrade!!" :D |

Have you checked them for spyware and viruses? or mabye a network utility thats running that shutsdown/logs off users on clients that dont meet requirements? Daniel |

Maybe the latest server upgrade causes some of the bugs in the W95 netwrok software to be activated. (Have the clients had all the network patches installed?) |
