| 388247 | 2005-09-14 20:11:00 | Ok...the option was there and not greyed out. it said Automatic and Started. I did the winhlp32.exe thing it didnt work... I forgot to mention earlier that the loading bar got to 50%, collecting operating system information, then disappears. if thats any help | Jackalope13 (8882) | ||

| 388249 | 2005-09-14 22:09:00 | k, sorry. When I open help and support, in the search bar I type System Info. Then under pick a task, I click: get information about your computer. if i click View general info or View status of system hardware and software they open, start loading, then the entire screen closes. all the others open fine. If I click view advanced system info, then, view detailed system info (Msinfo32.exe) it dosn't even start loading, just closes. You have been so helpful, thanks. Sorry I wasn't more specific. |
