| 388197 | 2005-09-13 22:55:00 | My Dlink dsl modem crapped out and Xtra sent a replacement which is also a 4 port router. I'm having trouble getting the ADSL router to talk to my Linksys wireless router. I can get internet when plugged into a LAN port on the Dlink but not when I wire it to the linksys. Anybody got advice on how to fix this? I have DHCP enabled on the Dlink and Linksys. The Dlink prefers the 10.1.1.? IP range whereas the Linksys likes the 192.168.1.? range. I'm running WinXP and IP configuration is set to automatic. |

Use something like 10.1.1.254. Also, turn off DHCP server in Linksys if it has one. Use the DHCP server in the DLink instead. |
