| 387868 | 2005-09-12 08:30:00 | I did not uninstall my Lexmark Z22 printer properly. I deleted it out of the printers window and rebooted. I did this twice, so it left a lot of junk in my computer. I tried to reinstall my printer from a disk, and it would not install properly. Could someone tell me how to clean up all the stuff left over in my computer from improperly deleting my printer? If you could give me simple instructions, I would appreciate it. I've been working with this for hours and am so frustrated. :mad: | RoadRunnerAD (8869) | ||

| 387870 | 2005-09-12 09:06:00 | No, there was nothing in Add/Remove programs about my printer. And I know it didn't uninstall my drivers. That's one of my problems. | 387872 | 2005-09-13 00:25:00 | I was at a friends place once and had to install his printer (which was a lexmark) but when I went to uninstall (I used the proper uninstall program) it left half the lexmark printer services and things still running. I emailed lexmark and told them nicely that I didn't like how their software worked and could they please give detailed instructions on how to remove all this junk. Next day got an email with everything I needed on how to manually uninstall everything for that printer. I can't remember what the model was, but they should tell you what you need to know if you ask. |
