| 388526 | 2005-09-15 04:17:00 | Hi, I've got a xp computer with SP2 to look at that when they close IE, it closes all open IE windows, not just the want they clicked to close. I registered Urlmon.dll but this seemed to make no difference. Any clues for me to look at. Nick |

| 388527 | 2005-09-15 05:29:00 | There is an option to close all windows in XP by right clicking one of the buttons on the task bar. Maybe that's it (I'm on 98se). I've only heard about about it somewhere. Though I doubt they're doing that. Do you mean by "close all windows" that the browser closes too? Upgrade to Firefox. You/they'll never look back. (I saw you had 17 views and no replies so at least you got a bump.) :D |

| 388528 | 2005-09-15 06:01:00 | ........and after a bit of a rummage with Google I see there are programs you can download to close all windows. Have they got one of these youi don't know about? Anyway my first response to anything odd is give the comp a good cleanout and then run AV and then spyware and adware programs in safe mode. Gets rid of a lot of crud. HTH..m |
