| 389202 | 2005-09-18 07:52:00 | Hi Recently bought a new keyboard which came with an optical mouse. It's one of those cheap jobs you can by in supermarkets-an S&V brand. Keyboard works great, however everytime I boot up Windows is unable to detect my mouse. I have to restart using Ctrl-Alt-Del before the mouse will work. Very annoying. I've checked through mouse properties and device driver but everything seems to be o.k. Maybe it's because it's a cheapie, I don't know. Anyone have any ideas? |

My OS is Windows 98SE and the mouse connects to the computer via the same connection as my old mouse in the back of the H/D (P/S2 I think?). Hope this helps. |
