| 389089 | 2005-09-18 00:11:00 | I have a whole lot of jpgs on a CDrom. When I am part way through copying them to the hard drive I get an error message saying a file can't be copied. Then it stops copying all the rest of the files. Isn't there an option that lets one complete copying the rest of the files, when there is a hangup with one file? I have a similar problem on two computers with Windows ME and Windows 98. Also on my computer, ME, when I insert CDroms that should start automatically, eg the PC World CDrom, they no longer do start automatically. I think the drive is packing up, would this be right? It is HP. Thanks |

| 389092 | 2005-09-18 00:45:00 | you can mutlple select problem files by using the control key then do the invert selcection thing | beama (111) | ||
| 389093 | 2005-09-18 01:59:00 | A lot less hassle is to get Unstoppable Copier (www.majorgeeks.com) which just keeps copying files and doesn't stop ( as the name suggests) for the files that are corrupt or unreadable. Saves a lot of fiddling around. |
