388805 2005-09-16 23:27:00 I download torrents that require you to upload to increase your download quota. While I'm downloading a file, I usually have a few people downloading off me. When the download completes & I start seeding, most the time noone is downloading off me & when they do, it is at very slow speeds.

I have port forwarding set up. Any ideas what else might be causing this?

I use bitcomet

There may be so many seeds that yours really isn't needed all that much.

I am not a fan of torrents, however the problem is probably, you have'nt set up a Port forward for UDP and TCP.

What are your average download speeds? And what is your internet Speed ie 256, 2MB?

No uploading can effect your download speed on many tracking sites, so you may very well have to worry about it.

388808 2005-09-17 05:40:00 I'm on 256/128 unlimited. My download speed is around 10k/s when orcon are using packet shaping, & when they aren't, my downloads usually reach the 20k/s cap I've put on them so I still have plenty of bandwidth for web browsing.
I'm forwarding both tcp & udp.
