388779 2007-10-22 00:32:00 Thats poor logic, There is no reason for a Media player to install a networking app or alter any networking configurations.Probally get fired for it in an office. Nor would anyone in their right mind be happy about an app they didnt ask for reaching out over a network to look for files.

Might as well download a Trojan horse and be done with it.

I don't like that kind of app(virus?) either. It's just like UPnP in my opinion, great for letting your programs work, great for letting hackers in as well.

I believe if you install the quick time auto-updater it will give you bonjour

Another reason why iTunes is crap

388782 2007-10-22 23:02:00 You are too quick to judge. iTunes runs on Vista as well and will certainly bring up this message.

Vista wasn't released at the time.
