Anybody had experience with getting a HP Printer repaired on the North Shore, Auckland. Problem is that on the Black cartridge holder the bar and spring between the 2 rows of contacts has gone walkabout. Got load of info from HP site but this appears to trigger off all sorts problems.Trying to find the local HP agent outside of the Mon -Fri hours is not PC. |

What model is it? Chances are if it's the average one, you'd be better off buying a new printer. |

yeh unless it cost you a LOT and is new then it'll cost you more to repair than buying a new one.......throw it away |

Thanks PCTek, will get Visual Group to look at it and if they estimate more than $50 my daughter will be in for a new printer.Hunted high and low for missing spring and bar but it had been shifted around a few times before I spotted they were missing. Got a horrible feeling it might be a case of replacing the complete cartridge carriage. |
