NOW, there is an additional connector on the card next to the power connection . what is this for? it is some what similar in apperance to a floppy drive power connection, but it is not .

again what is it for, how do i use it, why is it there?

388910 2005-09-17 06:04:00 Ahhhhh ok... yes that is an audio in connection, lol if you had said it was a VIVO card I would have know straight away. This connector should be similar to the audio connector found between you optical drive and your sound card. Basically it's used to record sound via the RAGE ATi Theatre chip which is found on the VIVO version of the card.

Hope that helps.

cheers
