389419 2005-09-19 09:49:00 I only got xtra broadband last Monday and man have I had problems. I keep losing connection. They sent me a new modem, I have tried another computer, other filters, disconnected all phones (3) and I still lose connection. I am amazed I am able to write this without losing connection. It would seem that it happenes more, (much more ie every 5 to 10 mins I am rebooting) after 5.30pm and all day in the weekend, perhaps this is the busiest time on the internet? A telecom guy came to the house today, kind of scratched his head and said I DON'T KNOW I will ring you tomorrow and see if you still have the prob. I told him then if you have done nothing then of course I will still have the problem and yep sure enough since 5.38pm tonight I have rebooted 6 times. HELP any idea's. kerry (8914)

389421 2005-09-19 09:55:00 line quality? faulty modem?

They have told me that the line is fine, It is the second modem so I don't think so. I didn't mention that when you turn the modem on you can hear the high pitch sound it makes to conect, on the phone.
