389744 2005-09-20 20:14:00 I'm not sure that I am asking this in the 'correct' forum - but here goes...

I am in the process of converting 12 videos to DVDs for my husband. Each DVD is going into a slim line box (with suitably printed title page?) in the front of each box. Now he wants me to put all of these (12) in another container. I suggested an icecream container (!) - he was not impressed.

Is there anything suitable (that looks a little professional) and where could I buy, and of course, how much?

Cheers
R.M.

389745 2005-09-20 20:38:00 Try Warehouse Stationery - lots of compact storage containers there. Greg (193)
389746 2005-09-20 21:15:00 Yes - I had a poke around there the other day. Didn't see anything that was particularly suitable - but I didn't have time to have a really good look. It sounds as if I should go back and spend a bit longer.

Thanks for that. :)

389747 2005-09-21 01:02:00 I saw some blank DVDs in Tricky Dickies the other day with cases similar to the movie DVDs that you can buy/hire. Not sure if they sell the cases without the DVDs though.

Warehouse Stationery shops change their stock quite often so there are always new products coming and going. You could try telling them what you want and ask if they can get it for you.

389748 2005-09-21 01:46:00 There are file drawer style boxes for CDs. If you use CD boxes, rather than the more rectangular DVD boxes ... Graham L (2)
389749 2005-09-21 02:22:00 Yes - I'm using the Slimline cd boxes (I think that is what they are). Would that be available at the WareHouse Stationary too? R.M. (561)
389750 2005-09-21 03:22:00 For overkill, have a look at this CD/DVD caddy (www.ascent.co.nz/mn-product-spec.asp?pid=334324).

Thre seem to be plenty of storage containers which hold 100 or so in plastic sleeves, rather than cases.

Have a look in an office furniture place ... thare are quite a range of filing cases. Preferably look in a second-hand office furniture place. ;) (New prices are high).
