| 390217 | 2005-09-22 12:31:00 | Can anyone tell me how to stop the memory counter, at the start ? It does stop itself after about 4 minutes or if i hit the escape button it stops. any help is much appreciated, Tank |

I am guess you have an older machine? Look in the Bios for a setting "Fast boot" or "Quick boot" and enable it. This should skip through the count a lot faster. Also most boards allowed you to hit "ESC" and skip the memory test which is actually what it is doing. |
