| 390082 | 2005-09-22 09:32:00 | I am running AVG Free. At the bottom right of the screen is an AVG Icon which is continually rotating. Also at the bottom is a field "AVG E-mail scanner. I assume these two things are tied together. On the Tin Box, the red light is continually flickering. I assume this has something to do with the above AVG. Does this affect the running of the computer, is it using up our broadband quoto? Should I deactivate the e-mail scanning? If so how do I do that. Thanks PJ |

As for the rest of AVG it is resident and scanning your PC which it is supposed to do so that if it notices suspicious activity of files it will pop up and warn you. It won't use up your data limit. |
