| 389897 | 2005-09-22 23:08:00 | Well. I feel rather stupid right now. The problem is solved. The IDE cable was backward on the floppy. So yeah. I'm an idiot. I'm putting SP2 on now. Ok, the original problem was a modem shorted causing the computer to freeze during start up. I think it's a motherboard problem, buy a new one, install it. Nothing. Eventually track it down to the modem. Go to install then it was the problem we were talking about. But, everything is fine now. I'm back to full speed. Thanks for everything guys. |
