| 389828 | 2005-09-20 22:46:00 | I have an exe file with an ini file and two dll files (including VBRUN300.DLL) as an application running on a Windows 3.11 machine that links to a QNX application. Luckily I don't have any source for the exe file and I need to change what it does. I believe it was written about 6-7 years ago. Can anyone give me any clues as to how or if I could uncompile the exe file or even what it might be written in. | liketo (8935) | ||

I've never looked at that, but if you are lucky it might be tokenised, rather than fully compiled. See what Google (google.co.nz) says about "decompile visual basic 3". It looks as if you might be lucky ... there's a refernce to "P-code" for VB3, so it's tokens. (Of course, you've still got to work out how it talks to QNX ... ;)) |
