390527 2005-09-24 09:38:00 What is the best programme to use to play DVD? I want one where you can click the right button and bring up a list of adjustments such as brightness etc. speeds, captions or audio. Tick1 (6970)

I prefer Zoom player for the Simple reason that you can exspand the picture horizontally (make it larger) by just simply pressing the "+" and "-" keys WITHOUT loosing the sides of the screen. Most other players will zoom the picture loosing the sides of the screen. A few other playes allow for manual pain in the ass click on or pull down pre set ratio's, but with Zoom player you can get it how you like it within a few seconds, and of course movies come in different aspects ratios, so this is a great feature. The players listed above do not do this as easily if at all.

Beyond that they are pretty much all the same, however the feature I mentioned eliminated one of my biggest annoyances before I changed to Zoom player.
