| 390300 | 2005-09-23 08:33:00 | I am wondering if anybody has used this program and what they think of it. I have read some negative info about it saying it wasn't as good as Roxio GoBack since Norton took it over. Also, when installing on a Windows XP machine, do I have to disable system restore for GoBack to work properly? And will it work with a partitioned hard drive with two operating systems? The original GoBack wouldn't work on a dual boot system. Thanks, iguana |

I used it for awhile last year and gave up since it took too much system resources, but even worse it would not keep the Go Back (restore) points when I did some sort of regular system clean up (cannot recall what, sorry). There were other things I did not like but cannot remember the details. Now I use WinXp's System Restore and Acronis True Image. Roxio may be better - I suggest you Google around and find other forums discussing this topic. |
