In my experience the html will dominate if you have both (not exactly sure why), so have just one or the other - if your preferred index is .htm, then delete the .html. |

| 390682 | 2005-09-25 09:34:00 | Ah yes - I've changed the second 'index.htm ' to 'webphotos.htm', and lo and behold I can find it! With the address of: *orcon.net.nz/webgallery/webphotos". The only difficulty is the 'arrow' either side of the photos looks funny now - not like the on-computer arrow. Can't figure out why, or where to go to fix it! Never mind - bed calls, six o'clock in the morning will come soon enough! Thanks to all - slowly with your help I get there (sort of). Cheers R.M. |

| 390683 | 2005-09-25 09:41:00 | If you loaded the folder "webgallery" in the "...orcon.net.nz/htdocs" folder the address will be something like: www.yourwebsite.orcon.net.nz/webgallery/index.htm For the other pages it will be similar to: www.yourwebsite.orcon.net.nz/webgallery/otherfolder/index.htm When you are in each folder take note of the Remote Site path in the top right field in WS_FTP and use that as a guide to create the web address. |

| 390684 | 2005-09-26 09:23:00 | Just one more thing (everything looks pretty good - don't quite understand the details of the programming, but...) the arrows either side of the main photo look great on my computer when trying out from a floppy BUT on the internet (the same file that has been uploaded from my floppy) now look different/a bit odd! Have you any clues as to why/suggestions for repair/remedy? Cheers R.M. |
