1391629 2015-01-07 04:35:00 Hi All. Using W8.1 & Outlook.com

Cannot send emails to some people. What Incoming & Send numbers should I have in settings. Should I have SMTP or SEND?
Thanks. PJ

1391630 2015-01-07 06:16:00 Outlook.com is web based accessed through a browser, no settings to set, it does it automatically. If you mean Outlook (the program) the options will depend on who your ISP is.

If you are using an outlook.com email address Through Outlook (the program) again it should set it up automatically when entering the account details ( email address/ Password).

1391631 2015-01-07 06:22:00 Hi W, I have had this problem for a while as stated in an earlier thread.
The Outlook is from MS Office 2007. E/m is Xtra. I would like to change to Windows Live Mail but I believe that I cannot migrate all the Folders I have accumulated. PJ

1391632 2015-01-07 07:05:00 okey Dokey -- Sorry Forgot about the previous Thread.

Email settings Easier if you read from Sparks Site: Select your email program from the ones shown, instructions will open.www.spark.co.nz

By default you cant migrate the current folders from Outlook to WLM. BUT it is possible to do it. Theres a Free program that will do it, but its a bit of mucking about. ( cant remember the name its on one of the workshop PC's)

I "think" you can also just select mails and drag them across, but to be honest I cant remember if its Outlook >>> Live mail or not.

If no one else can confirm or help, I'll have a look tomorrow -- SWMBO is giving me the evil eye while typing this :stare: --- I'm required elsewhere LOL.

1391633 2015-01-07 07:28:00 OK thanks. PJ Poppa John (284)
1391634 2015-01-07 07:58:00 Ok quickly tried -- cant drag/drop between programs.

The program I mentioned is called mailstore Home -- post 8 www.sevenforums.com Bit of mucking about though.

www.mailstore.com Basically you are archiving outlook, then importing into Live mail. There are other programs but ones I found are paid only.
