Even compared to the others, he avoids questions, is arrogant, rude, and slimy - and looking at the competition, that's quite an achievement! Well I guess we will have to agree to differ. :) I quite like a guy who tells it how it is and doesnt rely on a big PR team or amnesia to worm his way out of awkward situations. Being rude to the Press and their stupid questions is a definite plus. However, we do seem to agree its a sorry lot were expected to choose from and it will come as no surprise to me if record numbers abstain from voting. The only thing that might bring them out is if they realise the ramifications of this stupid MMP system we have in place. The Electoral Commission has suggested how to fix it but the present government has rejected their suggestions. Interesting times ahead. |

' Disagree with that last part two, the press do ask some stupid question, but many are important. (Think questions about donations, corruption, helicopter rides, or backing up allegations). I personally don't think ignoring these sorts of questions is a definite plus. And well.....I might not especially like any of the parties, but some are definitely worse than others - so you'll never catch me abstaining, or supporting those who do. I mean....there's always the Civilian party or similar ;) |

OK Nick, but have you ever considered how stupid it is to give an answer when you dont know the actual question? Like, could you work with this Party? On what? Surely the answer is Yes if its a good idea and No if it isnt. I think the other parties should say they would appraise the situation after the election. The Party doesnt matter, its the strength of their case that does. ;) |

But I wouldn't start attacking the reporter, ala Winston. |
