| 1378289 | 2014-07-07 10:13:00 | yeah sure. i didn't notice the flaws and the building inspection missed it to. its only since winter started (i guess the wet) has everything starting to loosen up. looks like there may be loose nails as well. i think they have used round head finishing nails to nail down the subfloor. funny thing is part of the repair has been done well, only 2/3 of it is rubbish. been fitting the supports today till i ran out of glue. i'm planning on painting a sealing coat over the floor as well while the lino is off.I was only joking old bean. I too have just bought a house, it has a couple of issues, but I can repair without to much ado. |

| 1378290 | 2014-07-08 03:48:00 | use the smilies next time ;) bloody rain today. but it has allowed me to find a leak in a window. its actually filling up the frame with water and seeping over the inside seals :( strange thing is its an odd window. the frame is a door frame. i guess it was a door originally and they changed it to a window at some stage. i also noticed that the front door is on backwood. ie the outside is inside. fortunately theres a porch so it doesn't matter weather wise. |

| 1378298 | 2014-07-09 00:55:00 | well i have bigger problems now. the wind blew the garage door in and blew a wall out. currently the ute is holding the garage together! the fire brigade did a good job. fortunately i had timber and tie downs handy. i got main pc up and running now after UPS blew and took out the PSU. |
