| 1390926 | 2014-12-31 22:39:00 | Very interesting Wainui. I get the distinct impression there is no silver bullet with things of this nature. However, in my case it got 15 out of 16 which I figured wasnt bad even though 100% would be better and what it stuffed up wasnt hard to fix. One thing I didnt do was try the "Roll Back" facility which supposedly lets you roll back to your previous driver. Have you had any luck with that? And yes I did catch the sod trying to fit me up with a You Beaut Fix Everything programme I didnt ask for. :D |

| 1390927 | 2014-12-31 22:49:00 | Yeah, tried the roll back driver, but it was greyed out, so that didn't work (hence why I always make a restore point first). I went to the motherboard manufactures site and found a newer driver, but this one works fine, so if it ain't broke dont fix it :p | wainuitech (129) | ||
| 1390928 | 2015-01-05 08:41:00 | I would never trust it to install multiple drivers in one go that would just be putting all your eggs in one basket. The main thing it seems to always find out of date is the chipset drivers. No harm in running it and seeing what it suggests even its just indicating which driver might need looking at. Especially if you have ! to get rid of. I've only used the Iobit booster on XP machines. A windows 7 experience may be a little different. |
