1378871 2014-07-10 21:38:00 Why whip the butter? It is the makers at fault, not the butter. ;) R2x1 (4628)
1378872 2014-07-10 22:07:00 I mix butter and olive oil 50/50 to make my own margarine

I might have to try that one!

1378873 2014-07-10 22:56:00 I've got the service manual but somehow, I was not competent enough to remove and repair the butter conditioner unit.

PM me if you would like to have the manual.

You still got the book Cicero?

Mines not warming anymore....fridge itself is fine.

Long gone PC.

Mate gone too.

1378878 2014-07-12 19:53:00 Whipping it with a very small amount of water has worked fine. About 3 tbsps per 250g.
Have had old fridges forever because of this butter hassle, next fridge will be more modern and without a conditioner....

Summer....well, won't bother with the whipping and we'll see how it goes but I am sick of old fridges, they are quite fat too, and I really need a taller, slim fridge for my wee kitchen.

We messed about with the old conditioner (using manual, thanks bk T) out of the last dead fridge, I no longer care...over it all.
As I pointed out to husband, sooner or later there won't be an old conditioner fridges left anyway and we should just move on.
So this is the last one.....
