| 1378463 | 2014-07-04 02:04:00 | People seem to forget that its a company that we no longer own. They can do whatever they want, they are there to make profit, not to be seen as fair & reasonable by a few people moaning over $1.50. If its really such a big deal, there are options . Cancel your telecom a/c |

I occasionally pay with a paper bill when I courier a parcel. |

Yep and its a PITA  Often people will only give a mobile number. If I have to call them back on a mobile Its VERY quick and to the point, or if they want to talk I tell them to call me or give a landline number. WHY - you may ask ?? Simple, you call a mobile its costs the caller $$$, not the person receiving the call. A few months back I looked at my normal monthly bill as it was higher than normal -- WTF  the charges for calling Mobiles on its own was close to $300, previous months were $150 -$200. So the Telcos certainly are winning on that one. Had one person say to me, her friends dont call as much now ever since she dumped her land line- gee wonder why  |
